Have you ever wondered why a museum would display something in a certain way? Or why museums don’t display everything all the time? Or maybe you’ve wondered who the people behind the exhibitions are. Now is your chance to have your questions answered! The Museum of Riverside has partnered with the Center for Social Justice and Civil Liberties to host Dear Riverside, a letter to our first love, an exhibition featuring 100 years of collecting. As part of the celebration, Museum curators will be available in the gallery at the Center for Social Justice and Civil Liberties at 3855 Market Street, Riverside to answer your questions and chat about the exhibition. “Conversations with a Curator” will happen September and October.
