Museum of Riverside - Movies on the Lawn | Two on a Guillotine (1965)

Friday, October 18, 2024

What would you do to secure a massive inheritance? Well, don’t lose your head! We plan to execute a wonderfully spooky night for this October’s Movies on the Lawn. Connie Stevens, Dean Jones, and Cesar Romero star in the 1965 horror film, "Two on a Guillotine" (1965). The protagonist, Cassie, must stay in her recently-deceased magician father’s isolated mansion for seven nights in order to inherit his $300,000 fortune. Will she survive?

Have you ever watched a movie and felt déjà vu? Maybe it's because you recognize their filming location! The Museum of Riverside's new event series "Movies on the Lawn: Made in Riverside" will feature films that were shot in and around Riverside. Do you think you can spot the local places? Bring your own chair or blanket for a cozy viewing on a 20-foot screen under the stars at Heritage House. This is a unique opportunity to connect with Riverside's cinematic history! The movie starts at dusk. Fresh popped popcorn and other snacks are available for purchase (cash only).

Movies on the Lawn take place on the lawn at Heritage House, located at 8193 Magnolia Avenue, Riverside. Street parking is available.
This event is best suited for audiences ages 13 and up. Parental discretion is advised.
