About the Event
The 2018 Association for Public Policy Analysis and Management (APPAM) Public Policy Camp, to be held at the UC Riverside School of Public Policy, is an initiative to introduce the field of public policy to a group of students who might not otherwise be familiar with it, as well as increase the pipeline of diverse students into APPAM institutional members graduate public policy and public affairs schools.

The day-long event is open to undergraduate students from all majors with an interest in public policy.

RSVP Deadline
Registration closes on Friday, September 14th at 12:00 noon.

Parking
Free parking will be available to non-UCR attendees in Lot 24. A parking attendant will be available between 7:30 and 9:30 a.m. to provide parking permits. For arrivals after 9:30 a.m., please visit the UCR kiosk near Lot 1 (see map).

Food
Breakfast will be at 9:00 a.m., lunch at 11:30 a.m., and a reception at 4:00 p.m.

Seating
Each attendee will be assigned seating at a table that corresponds to one of several policy areas: 1) social justice, 2) health, 3) envrionmental, 4) education, 5) urban planning / transportation, 6) foreign / international, 7) budget / fiscal / economic, and 8) criminal justice. In the registration form, attendees can rank their policy area preferences, if any. We will try our best to accommodate attendees' preferences and seat them at a table according to their preference, but it is not guaranteed. |  | Attire | Attire is business casual.
