Small Sparks Neighborhood Matching Grants

The Small Sparks Neighborhood Matching Grant program supports resident-led projects throughout the city. Small Sparks provides funding to match community contributions of volunteer labor, donated professional services/materials, or cash donations in support of neighborhood-based projects.

CalFresh Healthy Living

This program supports healthy, active and nourished lifestyles by teaching Californians about good nutrition and how to stretch their food dollars, while also building partnerships in communities to make the healthy choice, the easy choice.





Neighborhood Engagement Workshop Series

This is a forum for City Departments, outside agencies and neighborhood leaders to share education and information on topics of interest to community members.

Neighborhood Outdoor Movie Nights

The Neighborhood Outdoor Movie Night program provides outdoor theater equipment to residents for an opportunity to bring community together in the place that matters most to them – their neighborhoods. This equipment can be checked out “free of charge” to residents who wish to bring their community together and also provides an opportunity for City staff to engage with residents to share information on programming and other events as well.
