Current Situation
On November 19th at 9:36 P.M., the City of Riverside Fire Department responded to a structure fire in the 3500 block of Commerce St. Fire department units arrived and found a large vacant commercial structure with moderate smoke coming from the building. Fire department crews forced entry into the building and were able to contain the fire to the area of origin. There is extensive damage to a raised foundation floor that required extensive overhaul. Riverside fire department arson investigators responded to the incident. The cause of the fire is under investigation. There were not any firefighter or civilian injuries reported.
