    Current Situation

    The City of Riverside Fire Department responded to a report of a structure fire in the 2200 Block of Northbend. The 1st due Squad Company reported a vegetation fire behind the address with immediate threats to at least 3 homes on Northbend. Riverside Firefighters deployed hose lines to defend the threatened structures. One outbuilding did sustain damage before the fire was brought under control, but the 3 residential structures were saved. Riverside Firefighters remained on scene to mop-up the one-acre fire for 90 minutes. The cause of the fire was undetermined.
