Current Situation
At 0306 on 8/18/2024, the City of Riverside Fire Department responded to a report of a possible structure fire in the area of Norwood and Bushnell. The first arriving unit reported a working fire in an outbuilding behind the main residence, addressed off of Bushnell. Access was difficult due to a vey long driveway and muliple fences, however, crews aggressively attacked the fire and damage was limited to the outbuilding. The property owner was on scene and explained he used the building to store and work on large model airplanes. The building and it's contents were a total loss. There were no injuries to firefighters or civilians.
