Current Situation
On January 11th, 2021 at 01:20 a.m. The City of Riverside Fire Department responded to a residential structure fire in the 3800 block of Buchanan St. Upon arrival fire units discovered a residential structure fire with a fully involved bedroom inside a mobile home. Firefighters made an aggressive fire attack and were able to contain the fire to the bedroom of origin. The fire was controlled at 01:36 a.m. A total of 17 firefighters were on scene. The house sustained smoke and heat damage. Firefighters conducted a search of the structure. One person was found inside attempting to extinguish the fire. The person was evacuated and denied any injuries or complaints. There were no firefighter injuries. The estimated loss to the house was $30,000 with the save estimated at $75,000.
