    On April 14th, 2022, The City of Riverside Fire Department responded to a structure fire with possible injuries at the 5700 block Van Buren Blvd.  Fire department crews arrived on scene and found a well involved fire burning at a homeless encampment.  There was one patient with burn injuries laying near the fire.  Fire Department crews made an aggressive attack on the fire and initiated patient care for one patient.  The fire was quickly extinguished.  The adult male patient was transported by ambulance to a local area hospital in stable condition.   A Fire department Arson Investigator is on scene.  The cause of the fire is under investigation.
