    Current Situation

    The City of Riverside Fire Department responded to a possible vegetation fire. Upon arrival there was approximately a 50 by 50 fire burning on a hillside in thick brush and trees. The fire burned down into a nursies pile of clippings approximately 30 by 20 feet in size. Crews extinguished the fire and mopped the area. The investigations was undetermined on cause. Total area burned .25 acres. The BNSF railroad was shut dowm for a brief period of time. The owner was contacted and the property was turned over to him once we were completed.
