Current Situation
The City of Riverside Fire Department responded to a reported single vehicle accident with a victim trapped at the intersection of Victoria & Jefferson. The first arriving Engine Company reported major damage to a vehicle after striking a palm tree. The patient was extricated using tools from the engine and the patient received definitive care almost immediately. The efforts by on scene personnel proved to be futile as the injuries sustained were insurmountable. The patient was pronounced on scene. The scene was then turned over to The Riverside Police Department for investigation.
