    FINAL-

The City of Riverside Fire Department responded to a report of a structure fire . While in route, the 911 call center advised that several reports were coming into the call center regarding the fire. A visible smoke column was seen from a distance. Upon arrival, we found a small single story single family dwelling fully involved in fire with direct fire impingement onto the neighboring residential structure on the Bravo side. Crews went into a defensive fire attack and was able to extinguish the blaze and stop any further spread into the neighboring home. The structure was overhauled, building and safety was requested to respond in the morning to secure the property. An RP was requested but we were unable to notify the owner do to no ability to leave a message on the phone numbers that were given.

Riverside Public Utilities responded out to secure the electricity on the neighboring exposure as their electrical panel received extensive heat damage due to the fire.

The fire investigation revealed that there were several transients living in and around the property of this abandoned structure. However, the cause and origin was undetermined as the structure was a total loss.

Units cleared the scene without further incident.
