    Current Situation

    On Sunday, June 20, 2021 at 1:10 P.M., the City of Riverside Fire Department responded to a first alarm brush fire in the 6900 block of Doolittle Ave.  Upon arrival, fire department units discovered approximately ¼ acre of light flashy fuels burning in an open field near Hole Lake.  The fire was burning adjacent to the homeless encampments in the area.  Fire department crews contained the fire at ¼ acre.  There were not any civilian or firefighter injuries.  The cause of the fire was undetermined.
