Current Situation
The City of Riverside Fire Department responded to a report of structure of fire. Upon arrival we found a single-story, single-family dwelling with light smoke showing from the front entrance. Crews made an aggressive fire attack and extinguished the fire that was contained within the room of origin. The owner complained of shortness of breath, was treated and assessed. However, the owner refused any all further care by Fire Department paramedics and signed out against medical advise (AMA). The investigation revealed a possible discarded ashtray into a nearby trashcan.
