    Current Situation

(Recent updates are posted at the top of the Current Situation)

The City of Riverside Fire Department responded to tree fire in the area of Victoria and Adams. Upon arrival the fire appeared to be 1/4 of an acre in light flashy fuels and a stand of Eucalyptus and Pepper trees. The fire was difficult to access. We accessed it off of Saint Lawrence at 2752 Saint Lawrence St. We initiated fire attack from the back of their property. An additional fire broke out about 100 yards away from the original main body. This fire was possibly a spot fire from the original fire. The investigation revealed an undetermined  cause.

After the fire was extinguished the crews mopped both areas up, picked up their equipment and cleared the scene.

    There were no firefighter injuries.
