Current Situation
The City of Riverside Fire Department responded to a reported Residential Structure Fire on the 2300 block of Fairview. First arriving units reported heavy smoke issuing from the attic space of the home. An aggressive fire attack was made on the fire in conjunction with 100% salvage of the home’s contents. The fire was contained in approximately 25 minutes. Crews were able to keep the fire spread to the attic space with no fire damage to the living quarters. Crews remained on scene to completely extinguish the fire and assist the occupants with gathering any needed items from the house. A Save card was issued to the family for incidentals. Red cross assistance was offered however the family opt to stay in their travel trailer.
