Current Situation
At 0331 in the morning on 3/22/2022, the City of Riverside Fire Department responded to a report of a structure fire in the 10200 Block of Victoria Ave. Upon arrival, crews found a working fire in a ranch-style, single-family dwelling. The residents had evacuated to the front of the home and alerted fire personnel to a critical burn patient on the front sidewalk. Fire paramedics provided Advanced Life Support measures to the victim while additional fire crews aggressively fought the structure fire. AMR was requested and the patient was transported to Arrowheaad Regional Medical Center in critical condition. The fire was placed under control with no additional injuries. The cause of the fire is currently under investigation but appears to be electrical in nature.
