Current Situation
The City of Riverside Fire Department responded to reports of a residential structure fire in the 3900 Block of Bel Air St. The first arriving engine company reported a working fire at the rear of the home that spread into the attic space. Crews performed an aggressive and coordinated fire attack to control the fire and contain damage to 25% of the home. The resident was home at the time of the fire and was able to escape with their pets. The cause of the fire was undetermined following an investigation. There were no injuries reported to the public or fire personnel. A SAVE (Supplying Aid to Victims of Emergency) gift card was provided to the homeowner.
