Current Situation
The City of Riverside Fire Department responded to a reported structure fire on the 700 block of Orange Street. First arriving fire units reported smoke and fire showing from the rear of the home. The crews were able to quickly attack the fire keeping the fire to the room of origin. The crews remained on scene to completely extinguish the fire and to provide assistance with salvaging any items from the fire area that the occupant required. The cause of the fire appears to be a lamp that had come into contact with adjacent bedding materials.
