Current Situation
At 2218 Hours on 6/23/2022, The City of Riverside Fire Department responded to a report of a fire in the kitchen of a restaurant on Hole Ave. The business was closed but the owner had been alert by a camera inside the building and called 911 from her home in Rialto. Upon arrival, crews found smoke coming from mulitple vents on the roof. Engine companies made access to the interior and discovered a grease fire inside and on top of the cooking equipment. The fire was knocked down and overhauled. The fire did not extend into the structure, however, the cooking equipment and hood system were badly damaged. The cause was accidental and appeared to be due to the oven overheating and catching grease on fire. There were no injuries reported.
