    On December 1, 2024, the City of Riverside Fire Department responded to a structure fire at the 1000 block of Athena Court.  The first arriving unit reported a working fire inside a one story house with all occupants outside prior to their arrival.  The crew made an aggressive attack on the fire and kept it contained to the room of origin.  The fire’s cause was the result of a faulty appliance in a laundry room.  There were not any civilian or firefighter injuries reported.  There were not any displaced residents.
