    Current Situation

(Recent updates are posted at the top of the Current Situation)

On January 7th, the City of Riverside Fire Department responded to a structure fire at the 3200 block of Arapahoe.  The first arriving engine reported a working fire inside a small one-story house.  Fire department crews made and aggressive attack on the fire and were able to keep it contained to the room of origin.  All occupants inside the house safely evacuated prior to our arrival.  The cause of the fire was determined accidental and caused by a candle burning on a table.  There were not any civilian or firefighter injuries reported.  Red Cross was contacted to provide additional emergency services for the displaced residents.
