Full Text:

It is a 24 hour event and during the event. Jeff will remain in his full firefighter turnouts and be active on the track for the entire 24 hours. For Jeff it's his way of pledging his dedication to finding a cure. This year will be an extra emotional relay for Jeff's family after losing his mother-in-law Cyndi last August to cancer. Jeff is looking for support, such as any donation to this cause and support to his team. In return, Jeff will place the name of any cancer survivor or victim on his SCBA cylinder that he will be wearing. You can donate by going to the following internet link:

Jeff Lewis has been with the City of Riverside Fire Department for 11 years and is currently assigned to the Airport Station. In 2009, Jeff was awarded the Medal of Valor for heroic actions during a structure fire in 2008 that led to the successful rescue of a trapped civilian.

Thank you for your support!
