As a native Riversider, I am excited to introduce you to our team! The Department of Marketing and Communications is made up of creative, strategic, and passionate professionals who manage all marketing initiatives on behalf of and within the City of Riverside. We’re dedicated to sharing Riverside’s story with the world. Whether through social media, stunning visuals, or community-focused messages, we work hard to ensure that everything we do reflects our city's unique character and spirit.

From branding and visual identity to web design and internal communications, we’re responsible for shaping how Riverside is seen and experienced, both by those who live here and those who visit. What drives us is a deep love for Riverside’s culture, diverse arts, and high quality of life. Through our Visit Riverside initiative, we invite visitors to experience all that our city has to offer - whether it’s taking in a historic landmark, enjoying a cultural festival, or exploring the beautiful outdoors. We believe that Riverside is a place where everyone can connect, grow, and share with others.

Our 5-Year Strategic Plan guides everything we do, focusing on innovative communication strategies and accurate data to keep our messaging impactful. We’re always evolving, whether that means using new tools to engage with the community or finding fresh ways to tell Riverside’s story. Each member of our team plays a crucial role in upholding Riverside's vision and voice, working collaboratively to ensure our community remains safe, livable, and thriving. Our efforts contribute to Riverside's near and long-term goals of supporting economic growth, fostering a strong sense of community, and making Riverside a place where opportunities exist for everyone.
