Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Scholarships

The PRCSD utilizes CDBG funding in identified low-and moderate-income target areas in the City of Riverside.  Youth in these income level households have an opportunity to participate in City-sponsored recreation programs and activities. These recreation enrichment activities/classes may include flag football, soccer, rookieball, baseball, basketball, boxing, gymnastics, golf, cheer and dance.  Partial scholarships will be allocated to participants in specific city-sponsored recreation programs and activities,, not to exceed $80 per youth per fiscal year (July - June).  To apply, visit a community center near you or complete the application on the forms page.

Kaiser Permanente Operation Splash, LA 84 and Red Cross Centennial Grant Scholarships

Kaiser Permanente Operation Splash, LA 84 and Red Cross Centennial Grant Scholarships provide discounts for aquatics programs offered by the PRCSD.  Scholarships are available to qualifying low/moderate-income residents of all ages for a variety of swim programs during the summer months.  Programs include the Silver Swimmers Club, Junior Lifeguard, and swim lessons.
