The project entails roadway maintenance and widening on Van Buren Boulevard between Wells Avenue and Jackson Street and generally includes, but not limited to, the reconstruction of asphalt pavement; construction of new pavement; construction and/or reconstruction of concrete sidewalks, driveways, wheelchair ramps, cross-gutters, curb and gutter; adjustment of water meters boxes, water valve covers, gas ETS covers, and manholes; relocation of Riverside Public Utilities Electric facilities including coordination for relocating other utility purveyor facilities; replacement of striping, installation of signs, and modification of traffic signal systems. The existing asphalt shall be cold milled uniformly 0.12’ deep, then recycled in place to a depth of 3” followed by a 0.12’ rubberized asphalt pavement overlay. Some areas within the recycled pavement areas may be replaced by new pavement sections before or after the recycling process.
