Narrative: At approximately 8:40 AM today a collision occurred at the intersection of Magnolia Av. & Fillmore St. A 1995 Ford truck driven by Mr. Colletta was E/B Magnolia approaching Fillmore St. in the #1 lane of travel. A 1985 VW Golf driven by Ms. Izquierdo was traveling N/on Fillmore St. crossing Magnolia Av. At this particular time the investigation is ongoing as to the cause of the collision.

All of the injured were in the 1985 VW Golf. The most seriously injured passenger was Rebecca Garcia. She was transported to Riverside Community Hospital (RCH) via ambulance fro treatment by the emergency room medical staff. According to the medical staff Rebecca Garcia is in critical condition with a cerebral hemorrhage and will be transferred to Loma Linda Medical Center.

The remaining occupants of the VW Golf were transported via ambulance and treated at the listed hospitals. Non of the other injuries appears to be life threatening. The investigation and follow up will be conducted by the Riverside Police Department Major Accident Investigation Team (MAIT)
