Injuries: Mr. Dievendorf suffered massive trauma to the head. He was pronounced deceased at the scene by paramedics of the Riverside Fire Department.
Mr. Dievendorf was traveling North on Washington St. from Overlook St. in 2001 Toyota Tacoma truck. He was traveling at a very high rate of speed when he failed to negotiate a slight curve. The vehicle left the roadway and was caught between the metal guardrail and an asphalt burm. The vehicle rolled to itís R/side and traveled approximately 75 ft.
The vehicle then veered to the left and back onto the roadway. The vehicle rolled over several times partially ejecting the driver and only occupant. The vehicle came to rest upside down in an open field area on Washington St. at Engel Dr.
The driver suffered massive trauma to the head and upper body. He was pronounced deceased at the scene by paramedics of the Riverside Fire Department.
The Riverside Police Department Traffic Division Major Accident Investigation (MAIT) Team is investigating the collision.
