Riverside, Ca- On September 2, 2005 at approximately 6:00 a.m., Riverside Police Officers and supervision responded to Parkview Hospital concerning a 5 ½ month old infant who was brought in for medical treatment. Medical evaluation of the infant revealed that he tested positive for methamphetamine. Follow up by police on scene led to the arrest of the infant’s father:

Detectives and supervision from the Sexual Assault – Child Abuse Unit were called out and responded to assume the investigation. Follow up by detectives led to the arrest of the infant’s mother:

The child is expected to recover and Child Protective Services will place the infant, after he is discharged from the hospital, and the suspect’s 11-year-old child who also resides with them.
