Riverside, Ca- Riverside Police Detectives seeking information about an armed robbery suspect are releasing surveillance video images of two recent robberies.

The suspect displayed a handgun and robbed Cut Throat Glass in the 4000-block Tyler St. shortly before 7 p.m., on Thursday, April 13, demanding money and some merchandise. The Green Room Smoke Shop in the 1700-block of University Ave. was subjected to a very similar robbery at 5:50 p.m. on Monday, April 17, 2006. The suspect apologized to the victims while conducting both robberies.

The suspect is described as a white or Hispanic male adult, approximately 6’0” tall and 185 lbs., about 20-25 years of age. The suspect was seen wearing a gray and white baseball-type cap with the letters “DVS” on the front and a gray bandana on the back of the cap, together with dark sunglasses and white tennis shoes, in both referenced robberies. He was seen wearing a button-down Pendleton plaid shirt, dark t-shirt and jeans in the Tyler incident; he wore a white t-shirt and tan overcoat in the University incident. The suspect should be considered armed and dangerous.
