Small Sparks Community Matching Grant

The Small Sparks Neighborhood Matching Grant program supports resident-led projects throughout the city. Small Sparks provides funding to match community contributions of volunteer labor, donated professional services/materials, or cash donations in support of neighborhood-based projects.

How it works:

  • Applications will be reviewed by a Neighborhood Engagement Division staff member and applicant will be contacted if additional information is needed.
  • Project Representative will be notified if application is approved or denied within three weeks of receiving completed application.
  • If approved, Neighborhood Engagement staff will contact you with the next steps.

 

 

What kinds of Neighborhood Matching Grants are funded?

Grant projects fall under one of two categories:

  • Neighborhood Improvement/Beautification: A project that creates or enhances a physical improvement in a neighborhood.
  • Neighborhood Community Building Events: A one-time grant for a community building activity such as a festival or celebration.
