First-Time Home Buyer Opportunities

The City of Riverside is committed to improving access to affordable housing opportunities for low- to moderate-income households. In order to meet this objective, the City has been engaged in acquiring vacant and foreclosed single-family homes, rehabilitating them, and making them available for sale to income-qualified first-time homebuyers. This is made possible by Local and Federal funding sources such as the HOME Investment Partnership Program (HOME), Redevelopment Housing Funds (RDA), and Neighborhood Stabilization Program (NSP).
