Support Local Programs
We know the desire to serve our unhoused neighbors comes from a place of kindness. But as a reminder, unscheduled food distribution in parking lots or along corridors can unintentionally disrupt outreach efforts, duplicate services, and make it harder for individuals to connect with the housing, health, and case management support that leads to long-term stability.
If you or your group want to help, please partner with local service providers who are working every day to transition people into shelter and housing. Compassion works best when we work together.
