Citrus Festival

Saturday

The Friends of California Citrus Park invite you to attend a family friendly citrus festival at the California Citrus State Historic Park on Saturday, April 15 from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
At the height of the citrus season, come enjoy a variety of citrus tastings – sweet and sour, common and rare! There will also be cooking demonstrations by Executive Chef, Brad Martin from the Riverside Convention Center, and jazz and swing music performed by the Riverside Concert Band.

There will be historical, cultural and educational booths to explore including a special appearance by Luther and Eliza Tibbets who received and planted the first Washington Navel Orange in Riverside. The UC Master Gardeners, California Department of Food and Agriculture and CIBER (Center for Integrative Bee Research) will all be on hand sharing information and answering questions.

The festival will also have variety of craft vendors along with food and drinks and several activities available for kids, such as painting tutorials, storytelling by the Riverside County Library and Riverside Public Library, face painting and a variety of lawn games for all ages including a special game booth by the Riverside Smudge Pots Vintage Baseball Club.

Parking and admission to the Festival is free! Come join us for a day of fun at the Citrus Park!
