In/VISIBLE, Un/HEARD: Riverside's Civil Rights Stories - self-guided car tour

Car tour to sites where Riverside's civil rights history occurred. Performances and discussions will enliven the sites. The tour starts at the site of the former Lowell School, burned down in 1965, which led to Riverside's historic school desegregation decisions. The second stop is Evergreen Memorial Historic Cemetery, where the lives of key figures in local civil rights history will be highlighted.

The tour concludes at the Civil Rights Institute of Inland Southern California for a panel discussion, refreshments, and giveaway books (while they last).
