Get ready to soar to new heights with the seventh film in our Movies on the Lawn series, "Test Pilot" (1938). Bring your own chair or blanket and dress warmly for a cozy viewing on a 20-foot screen under the stars at Heritage House.
Before "The Wizard of Oz" and "Gone with the Wind," Victor Fleming directed "Test Pilot." This ambitious film features high-flying stakes and sky-high drama as two pilots test the limit of the skies and their relationships. Starring Clark Gable, Spencer Tracy, and Myrna Loy, "Test Pilot" showcases cutting-edge aerial technology of its time, with sequences filmed over March Air Reserve Base.
