Collecting COVID-19

COLLECTING MATERIAL OBJECTS

We are interested in physical items that reflect the impact of the pandemic on Riverside, such as temporary signage, takeout menus, club newsletters, diaries, home lesson plans, direct mail notices, and similar items.  PLEASE DO NOT set aside critical medical or protective gear that medical professionals and first responders may need at this time.

To offer an object, please contact Robyn G. Peterson, Museum Director, at [email protected].  Physical transfer of objects will be scheduled at a time after the state of emergency is lifted.

COLLECTING DIGITAL CONTENT

PHOTOGRAPHS, VIDEOS, AUDIO RECORDINGS, WRITTEN DOCUMENTS

Have you taken a photo of a location that has changed?  Written a story or kept a journal that reflects the impact of COVID-19 in our area?  Or have you made an audio recording or taken a compelling video?

We encourage donation of digital content as file uploads rather than links to other internet locations.

Please date your content and, if relevant, identify locations.  Please give your files names that reflect their content.
