Full Time Youth Job Corps Fellow
Responsibilities: Sol serves as a full-time CaliforniansForAll program fellow, focusing on the Campus Riverside Initiative. In addition to this role, he provides essential administrative assistance within the office, catering to resident inquiries, handling vital document printing and filing, and even staffing the Mayor at events. Sol is also a skilled photographer for the Mayor's Office and actively participates in the realm of International Relations.
Education: Sol earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science with a concentration in International Relations from the University of California, San Diego. He is also a current student at Riverside City College, studying Japanese language and literature.
Passions: Sol’s passions include photography, studying languages, and traveling.

Responsibilities: Xitlaly serves as a full-time CaliforniansForAll program fellow, focusing on community relations programs such as Coffee with the Mayor. As a fellow, she provides clerical assistance such as answering resident phone calls, processing, and filing documents.
Education: Xitlaly earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science with a concentration in Global Politics and a double minor in translation studies and Spanish.
Passions: Xitlaly’s passions include translation, running her online jewelry business, and giving back to her community.

Responsibilities: Ethan serves as a part-time CaliforniansForAll program fellow, focusing on the Campus Riverside initiative. He also provides clerical support including answering resident phone calls, printing, and filing documents.
Education: Ethan is currently a full time undergraduate student attending the University of California, Riverside where he is majoring in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance.
Passions: Ethan is passionate about spending time outdoors, playing and watching sports, discovering new foods, and helping his community.

Policy Intern
Kavya was raised in the San Francisco Bay Area. Currently, she is a full-time student at the University of California, Riverside pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science with a minor in Public Policy. After moving to Southern California for college, Kavya was determined to get involved with Riverside to gain a better understanding and appreciation for the city.
As a policy intern at the Office of the Mayor, Kavya focuses on tracking legislative processes and bills. She deeply values the opportunity she has had to help with the Mayor’s Campus Riverside initiative that aims to expand economic growth and increase college retention rates by encouraging students to explore, live, and work in Riverside. As a student herself, she feels that this community effort is extremely necessary, as it helps shine a light on all the beautiful aspects that Riverside has to offer.
Aside from the office, Kavya loves being outdoors, discovering new genres of music, and reading. After graduation, she hopes to work in local government to continue giving back to her community. She would like to thank her family for being her strongest support system and for always pushing her to do her best.

International Relations Intern
Michelangelo was raised by parents who immigrated to the United States from Mexico and Italy. At a very young age, his parents inspired him to create a better future for himself through the sacrifices his parents made for him. Coming from a diverse background, Michelangelo can inspire creativity and higher insight in the workplace.
He is currently a full-time student at California Baptist University and plans to attain two Bachelor's Degrees in Philosophy and Political Science with a concentration in International Relations. While at CBU, Michelangelo is also a full-time manager at his family-run jewelers; he manages wholesale relations and day-to-day retail operations.
Being a Riverside native, Michelangelo’s goal at the Office of the Mayor is to better advocate the Sister City program through working with the International Relations Council. By working to create a more globally connected city, Michelangelo believes that the Sister Cities and Riverside will gain mutal beneifts of both economic and cultural exchanges.

Business Development Intern
Anthony was raised in Hanford, California located in the Central Valley. He is one of six children, son to two hard working immigrant parents from Mexico. Anthony is currently in his 4th year at La Sierra University, majoring in Finance and minoring in Legal Studies. He actively participates in various clubs at his university including the Investment Club, Business Club, and Student Association of La Sierra University (SALSU).
Anthony is currently a Business Development intern for the City of Riverside Mayor’s Office. With this position, Anthony hopes to work on improve and develop the City of Riverside, by helping attract more businesses to the city. In his free time, Anthony enjoys helping students develop themselves professionally. He actively participates in providing professional resources to new students and guiding them through their transition from a college student to a young professional. Additionally, he enjoys investing and learning more about financial markets
