The campaign to raise support for Harada House
continues. The property, owned by the Museum of Riverside (a department of the City of Riverside), is fragile
and in need of major work. See below for two ways to
donate in support of this significant project.

In collaboration with the Riverside Museum
Associates, interested supporters are able to donate funds
to restore the Harada House. Please designate your gift for
“Harada House.” The Riverside Museum Associates is a
501(c)(3) charitable organization. Please note that the RMA
also has a Harada-restricted endowment fund. Your gift is
tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law.

directly to the
Museum...
You may also donate directly to the Museum in support of
Harada House or other Museum projects. Donations are
tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law. The City of
Riverside (EIN 95-6000769), as a municipal government, is a
political sub-division of the State of California. As such,
the City qualifies as a charitable organization as defined
by §170(c)(1) of the Internal Revenue Code (IRC). Donations
made to the City of Riverside exclusively for public
purposes are considered to be tax deductible in accordance
with IRC §170(c)(1).
