Stater Bros Markets Donates $2000 to Riverside Police Foundation

On Wednesday, June 25, 2014, Stater Bros Markets opened their new Blue Ribbon Store on Mary Street in Riverside.  Hundreds of people were there for the ribbon cutting ceremony and to see Stater Bros Executive Vice President Dennis McIntyre and Susan Atkinson, President and CEO of Stater Bros Charities, present Chief Sergio Diaz with a $2,000 check for the Riverside Police Foundation to support youth programs.  Riverside Police Department thanks Stater Bros Markets for their commitment to the community and for their generous donation.

Telephone Reporting Unit to Close on September 12, 2014

Effective 9/12/14, the Telephone Reporting Unit will no longer be available to make non-emergency reports. However, our public counters at 4102 Orange St. and 10540 Magnolia Ave. (Suite B) will still be available during regular business hours (8AM-5PM), Monday - Friday). For a list of Front Counter services please click HERE. If you have an emergency - call 9-1-1.

As another option, please refer to our online reporting system www.rpdonline.org/report to see if your report is available for online reporting. This system is available 24-hours a day but is limited in the types of reports taken. This system is available for non-emergency property crimes in which can be easily submitted at your convenience.

National Night Out Set for August 5, 2014

The Riverside Police Department invites you and your neighbors to be part of RPD's National Night Out celebration. NNO events are designed to heighten crime and drug prevention awareness, generate support for and participation in local anti-crime programs, strengthen neighborhood spirit and police community partnerships, and send a message to criminals letting them know that Riverside neighborhoods are organized and fighting back.
