Riverside General Municipal Election - November 5, 2024

                                                           Ballot Drop-Off and Vote Center Locations

The City of Riverside will hold a general municipal election on November 5, 2024, for the purpose of submitting to the qualified electors of the City of Riverside certain amendments to the City Charter to create an appointed Inspector General.     

Measure L seeks to amend the Charter of the City of Riverside to create a new Charter officer, the Inspector General, who will be appointed by the City Council. This officer will have the authority to investigate fraud, waste, abuse, and illegal acts within the city government, provide annual reports on findings and recommendations, receive an appropriate budget, and have additional powers and duties as defined by City Council ordinance.
