Regular Service: 6 - 8 weeks
Expedite Service: 2 - 3 weeks ( additional $60 - payable by check or money order only)
Walk-ins are welcome. Please be aware walk-in customers may experience long wait times. Come prepared with all required documents and forms of payment as indicated in the flyer below. Arrive early to ensure service.

PLEASE REVIEW CONFIRMATION EMAIL SENT TO YOU when you book an appointment. You must have application(s) filled out at the time of your appointment, all required documentation and payments when you arrive for your appointment to avoid delays.
To cancel or reschedule an appointment, please do so through the notification you received to make the appointment time available for other customers.

The Passport Acceptance Facility is located at 3025 Madison Street in the Public Utilities Customer Resource Center next to the Casa Blanca Library. View this location on Google Maps.

Can I Expedite the Process?
Expedite Service of passport applications is available for an additional fee. Please visit Department of State website at www.travel.state.gov for further information.
*The Department of State will Express Mail the passport book only once the application is processed for a 1-2 day delivery time for an additional $21.36 payable to the Department of State. The Department of State cannot Express Mail a passport card.
The City Clerk's Office offers Express Mail of your application to Passport Services for a 1-2 day delivery time. This fee is $30.45 for Express Mail service payable to the City of Riverside (check or cash only)
