Adult & Children Passport

Passport Acceptance Facility opens on

October 6, 2020, by appointment only.

Beginning September 25, 2020, call (951) 351-6334 for appointments and information.

On March 13, 2020, the City of Riverside declared a local emergency to increase efforts to protect the public from the COVID-19.  The Passport Acceptance Facility will be reopening on Tuesday, October 6, 2020, by appointment only.  Walk-ins will no longer be accepted until further notice.  Masks and temperature check will be required upon arrival.

On September 25, 2020, the Passport Acceptance facility will begin scheduling appointments.  

The Passport Acceptance Facility is located at 3025 Madison Street in the Public Utilities Customer Resource Center next to the Casa Blanca Library. View this location on Google Maps.

Can I Expedite the Process? Currently not available.

Currently, the Department of State has suspended Expedite Service of passport applications.  Please visit Department of State website at www.travel.state.gov for further information. 

*The Department of State will Express Mail your passport book only once the application is processed for a 1-2 day delivery time for an additional $17.13 payable to the Department of State. The Department of State cannot Express Mail a passport card.

The City Clerk's Office offers Express Mail of your application overnight to Passport Services for a 1-2 day delivery time.  This fee is $26.35 for Express Mail service payable to the City of Riverside.
