Following discussion, the Planning Commission voted to continue the public hearing to the Planning Commission meeting at a future date. Staff re-engaged the consultant to update the original feasibility study to capture changing market conditions.
Updated Feasibility Study Presented
Staff presented an updated feasibility study and recommendations to HHC. The study indicated that construction costs have increased, making multifamily rental housing development economically unfeasible with an inclusionary housing requirement.
