Current Situation
At 2144 Hours the City of Riverside Fire Department was dispatched to a residential structure fire in the 2000 Block of 12th Street. The first arriving unit found an approximately 1300 square foot single story residence with smoke and fire coming throught the roof to the rear of the home. Firefighters initiated fire attack in conjunction with ventilation and were able to bring the fire under control at 2157 hours. Fire crews will remain on scene for the next 1 to 2 hours for full extinguishment and overhaul of the fire.
