Current Situation
On Wednesday, September 18, 2019, The City of Riverside Fire Department was dispatched to an Alert 3 (Aircraft Crash) at the Riverside Municipal Airport (RAL). Firefighters arrived to discover a Beechcraft Airplane upon landing had a landing gear mishap with the two of the landing gears collapsing. The aircraft veered off of the runway. There were two pilots onboard, both were non-injured. A Riverside Police Department Officer was in the area of the Control Tower and witnessed the incident and immediately responded to assist. There was no fuel leak. FAA and NTSB were notified of the incident by Riverside Municipal Airport personnel.
