Current Situation
On February 21, 2023, at 1:55 P.M., the City of Riverside Fire Department notified the Riverside Municipal Airport tower of a reported aircraft down. Upon arrival, firefighters encountered an aircraft that had made a hard landing. Firefighters, with the assistance of airport staff, quickly determined that all subjects had self-extricated with no reported injuries. A minor fuel release from the aircraft was stopped and contained. With the emergency stabilized, the incident was terminated and handed over to airport staff.
