Current Situation

The City of Riverside Fire Department responded to a report of a structure fire in the 7600 block of Arlington Ave. The first arriving engine company reported working fire condition to the rear of the structure.  Fire department crews-initiated fire attack and found a covered outbuilding with business contents on fire exposing a small apartment building.  16 firefighters conducted offensive operations extinguishing the fire and protecting the addressed occupancy and the apartment.  The assigned Fire Investigator determined that the fire originated within the covered outbuilding and is determined to be accidental in nature with an undetermined cause.  Battalion Chief Richmond was in command of the Arlington Incident. There were no civilian or firefighter injuries reported.
