Current Situation
On July 13, 2025, The City of Riverside Fire Department responded to a vegetation fire reported near Tyler and Jurupa. The first arriving engine crew reported a working vegetation fire behind the houses. Crews made access and found .25 acres burning with a moderate rate of spread. Firefighters quickly deployed hose lines and were able to keep the fire contained at .25 acres. Fireworks were seen in the area prior to the fire and Fire Department Arson Investigators confirmed the cause of the fire was the use of fireworks. There were not any civilian or firefighter injuries reported.
