Current Situation
The City of Riverside Fire Department responded to a report of a structure fire in the 5400 block of Babb. The first arriving unit reported working fire conditions to the exterior of a single-story house. Fire department crews initiated fire attack on the exterior fire and a primary search was completed. Follow up reporting indicated no fire extension into the residence and the occupants had safely exited prior to the arrival of fire units. The incident took 12 firefighters 1 hour to achieve a knock down, overhaul, and a cause and origin investigation. Engine 7 Captain Nunez was in command of the Babb Incident. 2 pets were rescued from the house and one resident was given medical evaluation.
